Who we are

What personal data we collect
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, phone number (optional), subject, and message, when you fill in the form on our Contact page.
- Direct correspondence: any personal data you send us by email, phone, or in person, for example when discussing a recruitment, sourcing, or training engagement.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this website. We do not sell personal data.
Why we process your data
We process the personal data above:
- to respond to your enquiry or message;
- to prepare and deliver the recruitment, sourcing, or training services you or your organization request from us;
- to comply with legal obligations we're subject to (for example, tax and accounting records for client and supplier relationships).
Use of AI tools
The Lokenbergs uses AI-based tools, including Anthropic's Claude, to help process information as part of our work — for example, to help draft communications, or to support candidate matching and sourcing research. These tools assist our own staff; they do not make final decisions about you (such as a hiring decision) on their own, and any such decision always involves human review before it affects you.
Who your data may be shared with
We do not disclose personal data to third parties except: (a) service providers who process it on our behalf under a data processing agreement (for example, our email delivery provider, Unipile, and our hosting provider, Vercel); (b) when required by law; or (c) with your explicit consent.
How long we keep your data
We keep contact form submissions and correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to handle your enquiry or engagement, or as required by law, and delete or anonymize it afterward.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact gordon@thelokenbergs.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
